Association for Handicapped Recreation, Inc. DBA Specialized Needs Recreation

The purpose of Specialized Needs Recreation is to develop, operate, support, and enhance programs of recreation for disabled children in the five northern counties of Idaho (Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Benewah, and Shoshone). The only one of its kind in the region, the Program provides recreational stimulus and one-on-one attention for these children who need extra nurturing in order to develop life and work skills up to their potential as a basis for a successful future.
