A Life Changing Month

We finally had a month to spend together! Danny arrived just a few days before my birthday in November, and stayed until December. That was truly a remarkable month to say the least.

We got to experience so many new adventures as a couple, we went to our first Bed and Breakfast get away in Madison where we witnessed the "super moon" which wasn't so great, but we didn't let that dampen our spirits. Danny experienced Thanksgiving for the first time, since it's only a US holiday, and I thought what better way to celebrate than to go all out and also build our first gingerbread house together :D Needless to say it was loads of fun.

Finally and most importantly, the highlight of the month of November visit....WE GOT ENGAGED!! This was a nail biter, because Danny had proposed over Skype to me before he arrived in Wisconsin, and we wanted to inform my parents together, so we planned a special dinner outing. Thankfully, despite their concerns for the future, we had a wonderful celebration and of course there were tears.

That month we spent together, we really got the chance to learn more about each other, as well as grow as a couple, and plan for the future. <3
