Adaptive Surfing

Hi, I am Dani Burt! I'm an adaptive surfing champion who lost my leg in a motorcycle accident in 2004. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from San Diego State University and I work at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. I am honored and proud to work for the same hospital I had therapy at as a patient. I advocates for those with disabilities and have volunteered for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and Balboa Navy Medical Center for 10 years. I hope to inspire others to make it possible.
