The CSULB Rollin' Hurricanes (also known as the "Rollin' Hurricanes"), as the first wheelchair basketball club at the university, seeks the opportunity to encourage competitive adaptive recreation for persons with disabilities, to educate the CSULB community and surrounding communities about wheelchair sports, and to erase the distinction of adaptive sports to achieve universal inclusion of all persons regardless of disability, in sports.
