Spina Bifida Association

The Spina Bifida Association (SBA) is the only national voluntary health agency working for people with Spina Bifida and their families through research, education, advocacy, and service. Founded in 1973, the mission of SBA is to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and to enhance the lives of all affected. With its national office located in Washington, DC, SBA serves communities nationwide and provides many services in-cluding a free National Resource Center, a widely read quarterly magazine, Insights into Spina Bifida, and the only nationwide camp exclusively for Spina Bifida children. SBA reaches millions through its website, www.spinabifidaassociation.org, with over 29,000 monthly average visits, and by hosting various Spina Bifida listservs
