At first it was hard for me to open up about Down Syndrome

When I (@downrightbeautiful_levi) was first asked to share our story, Levi was only 5 weeks old and to be honest, I wasn't ready. He was not long out of hospital and I just didn't feel like I had the bond a Mum should have. But now, Levi has totally stolen my heart! His smile is contagious, he "coos" constantly with such a pure beautiful little voice and his strength and determination astound me daily! I thought after Levi's diagnosis that he would be so different, but the truth is he is just a little baby with a little extra! Im honored to call him my son and so grateful to the families in the same boat who have been so supportive.
