My Queen
This little queen is Aztlana. She was born with an encephalocele which is when part of the brain grows out of a hole in the skull. She had surgery to remove the brain tissue that was growing out of the hole when she was 11 months. The following month she began having seizures. She has a rare form of seizures called lennox gastaut syndrome. She was also diagnosed with cortical vision impairment, microcephaly and Cerebral Palsy. She also has asthma and is fed via G-tube.
My little queen has been through so much but always has a smile on her face. She is so happy and brave. She motivates me everyday with her strength and courage. She has taught me so many things and I'm truly grateful for having her in my life.
