We are so proud of our little monkey

Lian was delivered via emergency c-section on the 29th week. First, our 1200g heavy warrior had a serious problem with his lung. He was on the highest type of artificial respiration but due to his immature lung his saturation was too low. The doctors told us that he may die on his 3rd day. 4 days later his lung recovered completely and he had just the CPAP- respiration.

An unbelievable miracle they said. We have been full of hope and could not await to cangaroo with him on the next day. But that couldn't take place because his bowel broke on the next day. He had an emergency operation, which took 4 hours and again the surgeons told us that he probably will not survive. But our warrior survived. I still cannot imagine how they could operate his bowel, he was so tiny.

We are so glad that we have this methods and experts today, who saved his life. Unfortunately our sunshine suffered a PVL (lack of oxygen) and meanwhile and we received the diagnosis of CP. We are so proud of his cognitive skills and work each day to improve his motor skills. We do every therapy which we can find to help him. We are so proud of our little monkey and are so inspired by his power, vitality, will and charisma everyday. We are filled of hope that he will have a life full of joy, health and independence.
