Cerebral Palsy Awareness is a 24/7 Creative Job
The Cerebral Palsy Awareness Facebook page asked its' members to paint pumpkins green to raise awareness for Cerebral Palsy, and for us to share our story. I went a step further and painted in my tattoo because I live by the words “ I can and I will.”
When I was born, doctors told my Mom I wouldn’t make it past my hospital days and if I did, I would be a vegetable and depend on others for the rest of my life. I continue to defy odds daily. I work hard to learn how to walk, I go through surgeries to improve my quality of life, I drive, and even graduated college & high school as a teenager. I go to college for a communications degree so that I can share my story and tell people they can and will suceed no matter their situation. Don’t let anyone tell you no. Use their words as motivation to keep doing better.
