Raising A Child With Down Syndrome

Our son, Baker, was born with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. While we knew of his diagnoses prior to birth, I had a hard time imagining what life with Baker would look like. The minute he was born, he completely stole my heart and washed all of our fears away. Raising a child with special needs definitely has it's challenges but we're so lucky to be this little guy's parents. Baker makes every day better and continues to blow us away with his strength and bravery. He's our fighter, our warrior, and the greatest gift we never knew we needed.
