About Khloe

My (@_that_girl_brooke) daughter's name is Khloe and she was diagnosed with GBS meningitis, Microcephaly, Hydrocephalus (VP shunt), Cortical blindness in both eyes, Cerebral Palsy, Developmentally Delayed, and has a Mic-Key button. Despite that, she is amazing in so many ways. Khloe brightens everyone's day with her very contagious smile. She sees 7 different specialists and all of them are so amazed at how far she has come. Being a 20 year old single mother, and first hearing and learning about my child made me go crazy because I was reading such horrible things on the internet about all the diagnoses. My advice: avoid the internet, don't scare yourself, believe in your child that he/she will pull through and keep continuing to strive for greatness everyday and beat the odds.
