Dare to Inspire with Spinal Cord Injury
Life happens. Whether it be loss, injury, depression or whatever it may be. I severely injured my spine and tailbone in a military related accident and was put on medicine that made me gain weight and sunk me into a bad depression. I've always been in shape, so this devastated me. I'm proof that hard work and dedication is the key to success. I went off 100% off all meds in August of 2015 and decided to take my life back the natural way.
Since October 2015, I am down 50 lbs. My trainer helped give me the tools to achieve this and the results are proof that you can do hard things. I competed in my first NPC (National Physique Committee) show and took hardware home despite that I had just had back surgery only six months before. I'm so proud of myself and know that if I can do it, so can you!
Sometimes we just need to step back, regain our wits and do what we love and know is best for ourselves.
